Phlebotomy Technicians are in demand as one of the fastest growing occupations in healthcare. Launch your career as a Phlebotomy Technician, collecting blood samples from patients in a hospital, clinical laboratory, medical office, or clinic. Through lectures and hands-on training, learn what you need to know about the circulatory system, venipuncture technique and specimen collection, risk factors and complications, and quality assurance.

Course will meet in-person with no more than 10 students at AUMT’s campus in Gardena for all lectures and hands-on training. You must have a computer, good working internet, and a working email. Once you have registered/paid for the program, send an email to

Class Schedule Details: Class will take place on Saturdays 9:00am – 2:00pm. Students must pass the national exam and submit all paperwork before being placed for externship. Placement will be coordinated by AUMT and will take place in a one week 40hour schedule Monday - Thursday. Expected externship completion/program completion for this class is September 1, 2022.
